I did this one at 6:00 in the morning, from the top of Midway’s Memorial Hill, as my "Sunrise" entry into the Midway Art Association's annual Wasatch Plein Air Paradise competition. After spending a less than comfortable night up there trying to sleep in my Toyota 4Runner, scattered showers made for a not-so-bright sunrise, but the cloud cover and the blaze of light as the sun tried to break through made for a LOT of drama in the sky!
