I very much enjoyed painting this piece in Brigham City’s annual Art On Main plein air competition. First thing that struck me as I looked around town was that even here in northern Utah, the real estate feeding frenzy is in full swing! I had to capture this meadow on the north end of town, before it becomes yet another concrete, glass, and steel office building or strip mall. Apparently, it used to be a golf course...now it's just a haven for all sorts of wildlife.
